The story
Benjamin Klingemann is the man behind the project. He has been crafting music for the past two decades. Composing for different bands and rocking dancefloors worldwide as « Drumatik » has brought him international recognition. He decided to give a new direction to his musical career putting his drumming skills into the spotlight. Driven by his endless passion for music, he founded “DILLINJAZZ” in 2021.
Skillfully mixing drum grooves with elements of jazz, sound design, piano and brass textures, he invites you to impart on an immersive, intimate and heartwarming journey. He draws his inspiration from his life experiences and his explorations of nature. His soundscapes are designed with deep sincerity and emotion. Combining different musical currents like jazz, electro, break beat or world music, he creates sensitive, atmospheric, and complex music.
The accompanying visual show intensifies the concerts, transforming the experience into an awakening of the senses. For his debut album « Waves of Grace » released on September 28th 2022, he collaborated with two talented musicians, saxophonist Norbert Bizet and bassist Thomas Gerber.
The second album « Eyes Rise » was released on November 2nd 2023. Since then, several concerts have followed. The album has been streamed almost 25,000 times on Youtube, and the positive comments testify to its success.
The line-up is completed by new bassist Fabrice Kellerhals and pianist Léo Gastineau.
Vocal collaborations and a new album are planned for early 2025.
